After three other doctors were unable to properly diagnose, much less heal, a chronic open venous ulcer on my ankle (which I had suffered with for going on 2 years) I was referred to Dr. Lea by my new wound treatment center. What an amazing difference he made in my condition! He quickly and accurately located a damaged vein that all of the other doctors had either missed or were too unskilled to diagnose. Dr. Lea then did a procedure that corrected this vein’s leakage that had not allowed my wound to heal. In the 4 short weeks following this procedure, the wound has been rapidly healing and is almost closed! In addition to being a skilled physician, Dr. Lea has a terrific personality and is very easy to talk to. Also, he has a fantastic staff that further contributed to a stellar experience at his clinic. I am so grateful to Dr. Lea and his staff for making such a wonderful difference in my life. I highly recommend him without any reservations whatsoever.

Dr Lea was a fantastic and understanding doctor. I was very intimidated by this procedure. It’s hard to know what to expect when you are likely do go thru this only once and don’t hear much about it. The UFE was a life changing procedure for me and I would recommend this option to anyone over a hysterectomy or other invasive surgeries. I didn’t truly understand the chronic pain and discomfort I was surviving as well. Within 3 months after my UFE I was back to my old self again. Energy I didn’t think it was possible to have again. Genetically I am facing other health issues like arthritis, high cholesterol, and depression. Thanks to the UFE I have the energy to work out and be active again so that I am help prevent these and other health issues as I age. I just think how much this has affected me big picture and its been so freeing. I can care for myself again. My period is slowing getting better.
